Many couples try to fill the time with discussions and activities, but the real strength of a relationship lies in how comfortable you are just being with the other person.

The Bible should be the center of your relationship. Spending time in the Word together is crucial to growing in your faith and your relationship.

One thing we can learn from Jesus is how to be selfless. It is important to practice this as often as possible in our relationships – and to be sure that that selflessness goes both ways.
7. THEY DON'T Force YOU TO DO THINGS YOU DON'T WANT TO DO:
Getting out of your comfort zone can be a good thing! However, if the person you are dating continually insists that you do things that you aren’t comfortable with, no matter how big or how small, they are not the person God has planned for you.

Couples who are perfect for each other still don’t always agree – it is important to know that it that is okay! God’s wants us to learn from each other, and disagreements are one way for that to happen.

All relationships are different, but the big topics -- children, sex and marriage-- can make or break them. While not “first date” material, it is important to discuss these four topics in order to know if this relationship is a part of God’s plan.

No one knows where God plans for them to go or what God plans for them to be – both of you must be willing to submit to God’s will!
