We have all heard the cliché… ‘Women are from Venus and men from Mars’.
This phrase coins up a mental image on why divorce, heartbreaks and ‘no Mr. right, just yet’ exist in our lives. We can all yap about it, but one thing is for sure, men (read all), have a ‘twisted mind’ when dealing with women.
They assume so many things, which perhaps explain why we have so many ‘unhappy endings’.

We are all after your money
Big lie!
Women love men who shower them with gifts (its hormonal so we can’t help it) and of course, getting the queen’s treatment. But this does not mean we want your money. Trust me, most women earn more money and will not brag about it. So kindly, be a man worth his salt! Treat her right and drop the ‘she is after my cash mentality.
We all want relationships
Recently, Oprah Winfrey revealed in an interview that she is okay since she will never jump the broom.
Not all women want to be tied down into a relationship. The same way men “dine and dash”; women can do that without being emotionally attached.
We have mastered the art of ‘not feeling attached’ and ‘bang and bounce’ without blinking our eyes. When we are getting only 70 per cent, trust me, we will go out there and get the 30 per cent.
We are superficial
False. Who said a handsome face must be in a woman’s checklist? Personality trumps looks any day. Personally, I believe intelligence is sexy. A man who can stimulate my mind is the ultimate winner.
We only want to date bad boys
Big lie! Ever heard of growing up? Yes bad boys used to give us jitters while in high school and campus, but this slowly fades.
It’s called a stage in life.
When settling down, no sober woman wants a man who only thinks about expensive whiskey and having an escapade at four in the morning.
Yes. Women do outgrow the ‘bad boy syndrome’.
Tell their girlfriends everything
The less people know about your relationship, the less advice you get from strangers. This is our golden rule when dating.
Women love to gossip and tell their girlfriends things that go on in their relationships. Men believe that women are influenced by their girlfriends when it comes to making decisions, which is not the case. At the same time too, not every woman reveals every single detail, especially when it comes to bedroom matters. What most women say is, “he knows what he’s doing in the bedroom”.
