SHOCKING AS Girl, 19, beaten after being wrongly accused of stealing phone

A 19-year-old girl was tortured for 13 hours by two women after she was wrongly accused of stealing a mobile phone.

Katie McNamara was lured to a house by her former friend Francesca Raby, 18, before her marathon ordeal took place.

During the horrific attack, Raby and her friend Kelly Louise Garrity, 26, punched, burned, kicked and stabbed McNamara before locking her in a cupboard.
The two women hacked off McNamara's long black hair and forced her to lick her own blood off the floor.

After Raby and Garrity were sentenced for assault and false imprisonment, McNamara, now 20, spoke of her horrific attack.
She said: 'I thought I was going to die. They were going to keep me another night if the neighbour had not turned up.
'I kept asking them to stop but they carried on, laughing at me. I was really scared when they were stamping on my head. I couldn't escape - they had locked the front door and there were two of them, I had no chance.
'They cut my hair and then put my face into a mirror and said "you don't look so pretty now". Maybe they were jealous of my looks. I will never forgive them for what they did.'
Katie's injuries were so severe her mother Denise didn't even recognise her in the hospital bed.

Sentencing the two women at Minshull Street Crown Court, Judge Jonathan Geake said: 'That night, possibly affected by a cocktail of drugs and alcohol, you allowed your darker sides to get the better of you in a most bizarre way. It was quite inexplicable.'
Garrity was sentenced to four years in prison and Raby 40 months in a young offenders' institution after both pleading guilty.
McNamara originally fell out with Raby after the latter had accused her of stealing her mobile phone in November.
Later that day, Raby phoned her up apologising and asked her to come to an address in Farnworth, Bolton.

After she arrived at the house with another friend, the two women pulled her by the hair into the kitchen and started kicking and beating her.
McNamara's friend attempted to intervene, but was threatened and told to leave.
She was then taken by taxi to a second house, where two men joined in the attack.
During the attack, McNamara lost conscious repeatedly.
As well as being punched, kicked and stamped on, she was burned with cigarettes and Garrity threw a kitchen knife at her.
A female neighbour visited the house the following morning, where Garrity and Raby showed what they had done to McNamara.
They told the woman they would kill her if she told police.
After being hospitalised, McNamara spent four months receiving treatment as an outpatient. Her hearing has been permanently damaged.

A 19-year-old girl (names withheld) who was gang-r.aped by her ex-boyfriend, Kingsley and his friends after being deceived in paying a visit to the wife of her ex who recently gave birth to a baby boy has narrated her ordeal.
The victim who said she was pregnant for him while they were dating only to discover that another woman was seven months pregnant for him which led her to abort the pregnancy because she wasn’t ready to become a second said.
“On that day I went there at Ketu in Ijanikin to visit my ex-boy friend Kingsley, whose wife had just had a baby. When I got there, I met him outside, I asked him of his wife, he said she was inside with the new born baby. So, I went inside to see her. When I got into the house, the wife and the baby were not inside but I met two other guys.
“I decided to go out but the door was locked, I asked Kingsley to please open the door so that I could go since the wife was not inside.
His friends said I would not except I brought my younger sister. Then, I asked what for, they said my sister offended them at a party they attended recently. They said she denied them at the party which led to one of them been beaten by other guests at the party. They said they have been looking for my sister, that I should call her.
“I told them she just lost her phones so there was no way I could contact her. Then, they brought out their knives and axes and asked me to pull off my clothes, and that if I don’t take my clothes off, they would start cutting me little by little and then I will die a slow and painful death. I started pleading with them not to hurt me. But they refused and continued to threaten me.
“When it became clear that they would harm me if I didn’t yield to their request, I started pulling my clothes. After that, Kingsley was the first one that ra.ped me while his friends used their phones to record it.

When he was through, the second one called Ifeanyi aka Fabulous and the third one Asaly, took turns to ra.pe me. After they finished, they asked me to wear my clothes, which I quickly did.

Initially,they refused, but later, they agreed and instructed Kingsley and Asale to go with me to the bus stop. “When I got to the junction, because my eyes were very, very red and my face swollen, my sister knew something was fishy, she asked me what happened, I told her nothing that I have been sleeping. And she said that is a big lie that even when I wake from sleep, my face is never swollen.
When she insisted, I told her everything in my dialect so that they won’t understand what I was telling them. But one of them felt I was explaining what happened to my sister, he called the other three who were in the house to come, that I had finished explaining to them.
“When I saw the other guys coming, I collected money from my sister and pretended that I wanted to buy water from a nearby shop, when I got there, I told the woman who owns the shop what happened but she said they won’t be able to attack us outside in the open. While I was there, they started slapping and hitting my younger sister. I went there and was pleading with them to stop beating her.
They said I should keep calm, if I didn’t, they would deal with me also. So, I did. The attack drew the attention of commercial tricycle riders who were at the bus stop, they came to rescue us but were sent away after they told them it was boyfriend and girlfriend issue. I told them it was not true. “Luckily, for us, one of our neighbours, a soldier who lives in the same compound saw how they were beating us, he alighted from the tricycle to find out why they were attacking my sister.
I narrated what happened to him. After, he was able to rescue my sister from them, they attacked him, when he tried to call his fellow soldiers for help via his phone, they snatched it from him. It was while they were attacking the soldier that I escaped to a relative’s house nearby to call my mum. My sister also escaped after that.
When I got home, I explained what happened to my mum who took me to the police station to report the case and subsequently, Kingsley and two others were arrested while others fled.
Meanwhile a close family friendsaid the matter has been settled amicably after both families met with the police and the victim said her reason for agreeing to a settlement out of court was because of fear of her life and her family while saying her ex and his friends are cultists.

A teenager survived being shot twice and thrown in a canal by her family for marrying the man she loved, police in Pakistan said.

Saba Maqsood was attacked by her father, uncle, brother and aunt before she was tossed into the canal, said Ali Akbar, a spokesman for police in Hafizabad, Punjab province.

It comes just a week-and-a-half after the broad daylight ‘honour killing’ of another woman in a city centre drew worldwide condemnation.

Mr Akbar told Reuters that the most recent case was also ‘an honour-related incident’.

‘The victim, Saba … married her neighbour Muhammad Qaiser for love five days ago against the wishes of her family,’ he said.

‘They took her to Hafizabad, shot her twice and threw her in the canal after putting her in a sack, presuming that she was dead.’





The case drew intense global attention, including condemnation from the United Nations, in part because it the killing was so brazen. It happened in the centre of the city of Lahore, Pakistan’s cultural capital.

But many other incidents remain unreported. In 2013, 869 such cases were reported in the media, according to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, but the true figure is believed to be higher.

Mr Akbar said he had recorded a statement from Ms Maqsood in which she blamed her family for the attack.

‘I was tortured and shot by my father Maqsood Ahmad, brother Faisal Maqsood, uncle Ashfaq Ahmad and his wife Sajida Bibi,’ he quoted her as saying.

Mr Akbar added: ‘Her condition is out of danger and we have registered a case against her family on her complaint.’

Like in a secret cult, only the initiated understand its cryptic language, esoteric ways, s-éxual benefits and financial rewards.
For those involved in the bizarre trade, it was discovered during investigation in Lagos Mainland and Island, lé-sbianism is not new.
Most s-éx workers with secondary school education agreed that their involvement in the salacious act dates back to their boarding school days when they were initiated

by older girls.

Back then, it was just casual s-éx by girls in their puberty. Today, lésbianism has become a trade, a big but hidden business in the Lagos metropolis. Dozens of prostítutes informally interviewed during this investigation gave a rare insight into the usually hermetic world of lé-sbianism in Lagos and the trade now associated with it. The youngest lés-bian pr-ostítute P.M.NEWS met for this article was 16 years old. Most of them were in their early 20s.

Many get involved through se-duction. Some are influenced or initiated by friends who are already in the s-éx trade and have contacts and connections in high places , where women are ready to exchange cash for pleasure.

 

“I was introduced to lésbianism when I was in secondary school.
I was in a boarding school in Benin, EDO STATE” says one of the l-ésbian pro-stítutes who introduced P.M.NEWS team into the strange world of lé-sbian pr-ostitutíon in Nigeria’s most populous city.

 

Now a student at the University of Ado Ekiti, the Edo State indigene, shuttles between campus and clubs, hotel rooms or sleek houses in Lagos most weekends to have séx with rich women. “I have to be in Lagos on weekends because that’s where the business pays well.

Sometimes, I travel to Port Harcourt, but most times, I come Lagos. “I already know how it works here in Lagos. I have a lot of contacts in the strip clubs and I have a lot girls who are into the business and they refer women to me. But it is better to meet the woman yourself because if she is rich, the other girl will not refer you to her, she will take her herself,” she says.


During an outing in Lagos four weeks ago, she remembered with nostalgia, how a rich man once approached her for his shy wife and paid her big money. “She was shy, she told me. She wanted a girl that night but she could not come to the strip club and her husband picked me for her. “The husband left us in the room upstairs. He was having some drinks downstairs and watching TV.


He later came when we were almost done and gave her a peck. He asked her if I was good. She didn’t answer. She just gave him a peck and smiled,” she said. She admitted that sometimes, she services men, but added, “It’s better to do it with a girl. She knows how to make you come and she cannot transmit diseases to you.”



There are also risks, she admitted. She remembered how she was approached by “one rich woman with a British accent. “I agreed to follow her. However, when we got home, there were two other ladies waiting for me. She did not tell me I would be having -séx with three women. But I had no choice. I was already there and I did it.
I just renegotiated the amount,” she said. This new trend of prostítution is fast spreading among teenagers, but is not restricted to them. The high and mighty in the society are involved. Other less fortunate in life are also involved in their level. Tribe or religion is no barrier. P.M.NEWS was introduced to some l=ésbian p-rostítutes who claimed to be Muslims and others said they are Christians.


There were also others, who perhaps, due to the effect of alcohol, did not know which religion they practice. Unlike the ordinary séx trade between men and women, those involved in the trade said they do not stand by the roadside to meet patrons. Patrons and s-éx workers usually meet in some of the strip clubs in Lagos, exchange contacts or leave straightaway for their escapades.


Rich women are involved mainly for pleasure while the workers are in it for money. “It’s about connection. One person introduces “one person to another and it goes round. They are able to identify themselves through compliments like;oh! I love your legs. You have sweet b00bs. You look beautiful,’” another l-ésbian pr-ostítute told P.M.NEWS in a s'trip club during the investigation. She added: “They also wink and look se ductively at you.


If they get a good response from you, then they know they are with the right person.” She says some possess a high level of courage. “They can walk up to any lady they find attractive as long as the environment is safe for them.” Other pro stítutes argued that society women in Lagos who are involved in the trade are very caring. “Especially if they find you interesting, in the sense that if you are able to make them reach or-gasm.

 

They will give you a special treatment such as take you for shopping and keep you as partner even after séx. They can then buy you a car or rent you an apartment,” one of the s-éx workers said, echoing what was heard from others in their business.


The payment for services rendered is determined by quality service offered by the pro-stítute. “It could be sucking their private part or the ability to creatively use your hands to please them,” a s-éx worker said. The excellent use of vibrators and a good massage can put one worker at an advantage position. The fees start from N15000 a night and can reach N100,000 in some cases.


The amount dwarfs by far what is paid by men, which starts from N1000 or N2000 depending on the area. The ghettos are no exception to the trade but the price is relatively poor, it was discovered.

It varies between N2000 and N5000. One -séx worker explained that even though the trade is based on connections and recommendations, there are special places where it is easy to get hooked with lé-sbians. Beauty salon, luxurious hotels, swimming pools and expensive shopping malls were mentioned. Married women are also involved.


They woo girls in need of money, including their friends’ daughters. Married women in the trade claim that their husbands are either not good enough in bed or too busy to attend to their sé-xual needs. “They tell me their husbands do not satisfy them or are too busy and they can’t cheat with another man without being suspected,” a worker told P.M.NEWS.



“The good thing about it is that men cannot suspect them. Any woman can hang out with them and men are not bothered,” a s-éx worker said. Some women, the pro-stítute explained, invite two girls to satisfy them.

The root of this new dimension of pro-stítution can be traced to “only-girls” boarding schools.

Young innocent girls in such schools are lured into the act by older girls, most time through bullying. During this investigation, our correspondents interviewed dozens of sé-x workers mainly at s-trip clubs and attended a get together by l-ésbians and bi-sé-xuals

According to one study, men who don’t have a lot of money are more into big bo0bs while men who are more financially secure like smaller b0obs. Doesn’t it sound crazy that the amount of money you have could influence what size bre-asts you like? Um, yeah, it does.

But apparently, one view on female bre-ast size is that it acts as “a signal of fat reserves, which in turn advertises access to resources.” Psychologists tested out this idea by asking men from different socioeconomic backgrounds what size bre-asts they found more attractive. Sure enough, the idea seemed to be true – the men with less material goods liked bigger bre-asts more. Why? It sounds like they associate large bre-asts with more money and resources. Since poorer men are most likely striving for more money, it would make sense that they would like something that symbolizes more money. How do bre-asts symbolize “more resources?” Honestly, I couldn’t tell you.

The next study found that guys who were hungry were more like to find big bo-obs more desirable, while guys who were not hungry were more into small bo-obs. Completely random, right? Apparently this study was based on the evolutionary perspective that bre-asts are a sign of a woman’s ability to have and take care of kids. To tell you the truth, I’m still pretty confused as to how that relates to being hungry or not hungry, but okay. I’ll go with it.

Maybe it depends on the girl. I don’t know, I just think there are a lot of other factors to consider.
